Setting Up Commissions and Sharing Your Experience

Once your experience is built, the next step is setting commissions and sharing it with your partners to get it live on their websites.

Choose Your Experience Type

When creating an experience, select the builder that fits your experience type. Way offers four options: Time-based, Resource-based, GA Event, and Seated Event.

Once you select your builder, complete all required fields across each section of the experience.

Setting Commissions and Submitting to Partners

Once you have completed all experience fields, navigate to the Partners tab in the left-hand menu.

Here you will see a list of all partners you are connected with. For each partner, you can set a percentage-based commission and submit your experience for their review.

To set a commission and submit to a partner:

  1. Locate the partner in the Partners tab.

  2. Enter a percentage in the Commissions per booking field. This is the commission the partner will earn from each booking made through their site.

  3. Toggle the Submit switch to on to send the experience to that partner's dashboard for review.

  4. Repeat for each partner you want to share the experience with.

  5. Click Save and publish.

Understanding Partner Approval Statuses

After submitting, you can return to the Partners tab at any time to check where your experience stands in the approval process.

  • Published β€” The partner has approved the experience. It is live on that partner's website.

  • Needs Approval β€” Approval is still pending. The experience is not yet live.

  • Declined β€” The partner did not approve the experience. The experience is not live on that partner's website.


FAQs

Can I approve the experience on my end?

No, only the partner can approve the experience on their end. Because the experience is being published live on the partner's website, the partner must approve what goes live on their site. We recommend staying in contact with your partner so they can keep you updated on the approval status.
