Overview
Member Benefits lets you offer automated discounted pricing on experiences to specific segments of your membership base - loyalty tiers, interest-based communities, or any other group you define. You configure what each group gets, and Way applies the correct price at both browse and checkout. This is a great feature to reward some of your most loyal members.
There's no coupon code for your members to remember or enter. When an eligible member browses experiences, they simply see their price.
How to Set it Up
Configure your benefits via the Organization -> Member Benefits section of your dashboard.
The Member Benefits page is broken out into two main sections: Loyalty Tiers and Communities. Click the plus button on the Add community / Add loyalty tier button in the top right of the page to create the groups. Loyalty tiers and Communities are broken out separately since they are returned in different objects from the Member API.

How Way picks the right discount
Your members always get the best available offer. When someone belongs to multiple groups, Way looks at every rule that could apply and gives them the highest discount. A traveler in both your Gold tier (30% off everything) and your culinary community (20% off culinary) gets 30% on a culinary experience.
Discounts don't stack. One rule applies per booking. Member Benefits pricing won't combine with other benefit rules, existing discount codes, or other promotions.
Who funds the discount
Each rule is set to one of two behaviors.Brand covers it. The host is paid on the full pre-discount amount, exactly as if no discount happened. The difference comes through as a separate payment leg funded by you. Use this when you're underwriting the benefit for your members.
Host covers it. Payout and commissions are calculated on the discounted amount your member actually paid. Use this when a host has agreed to fund the promotion, usually to drive demand on specific experiences.
Reporting
Member Benefits discounts show up in the discount code and discount amount fields you already use.
The discount code field is populated with the API Identifier that triggered it. This allows you to easily see which segment is driving bookings straight from your standard reporting, without pulling anything extra.
